Thinking about rehabbing homes? Know your sweet spot. Every rehabber I know has a special After Repair Value (“ARV”) range that they focus on and excel in. This is because rehabbing a house with a $100,000 ARV is very different from rehabbing a house with a $1,000,000 ARV. Rehabbers know what they are good at, and know what types of finish out to do, to be successful. Know your “sweet spot” or ARV range of where you feel comfortable rehabbing.
