Look for the White Elephants!
Ever hear of the white elephant in the room? These are things that could create difficulty in rehabbing and selling a house. These include a variety of obstacles that are seen as unfavorable in the eye of a buyer: power lines within close range, home backing up a busy street or train tracks, nosy or bad neighbors, and are generally things you can’t “fix”. Make sure you take these elephants into consideration in your price whenever you buy or sell a house.
